Green Valley Islamic College is an Independent, Non-government Islamic school which was established by the Muslim League of NSW Inc in January 2002. There were 39 students from Kinder to Year 2. Currently the college caters from Kindergarten to Year 10. Future plans are to extend the school up to Year 12.

The school motto is that students will seek increased knowledge through faith and prayer.

Green Valley Islamic College is an Islamic school which was founded to provide opportunities for boys and girls to excel in this Life and the Hereafter. Following are students' achievements for the 2008 school year:

* Students from Year 3, 5 and 7 participated in the nationwide NAPLAN Tests, with most students achieving high scores. Well Done to all! These high scores are a credit to the student and staff themselves.

* Some students participated in the Australian Schools Competitions organised by the University of New South Wales. Well Done to those who participated in the English, Maths, Science, Computer, Writing and Spelling tests.

* Well Done to those students who represented the school at the 5-aside Soccer Futsal Competition against other schools. This year, there were four teams representing the school, a boys and a girls. Well done to those students who participated!

* Students participated in the Premiers Reading Challenge with many successfully completing the targeted number of books.
